Two TASC swimmers swam at the County Championships this weekend.
Eliza was at the Staffordshire County Championships held at Sandwell Aquatics Centre, which was also used for the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games. Eliza had a fantastic weekend, with 5 races in the long-course (50m) pool, her first time competing in one! She came second in the 100m Butterfly taking home a silver medal. She also made the finals in the 100m Breaststroke finishing a close 5th, in the 200m Individual Medley she came 6th, 7th in the 200m Freesytle, and placed 9th in the 100m Freestyle.
Oliver competed in the Warwickshire County Championships at the Alan Higgs Centre in Coventry, again a long-course pool. He too achieved great results, finishing 6th in the 50m Breaststroke, 8th in the 100m Breaststroke, and 9th in the 200m Breaststroke.
